Thursday’s Thirteen #14 Last week was crazy yet fun!
1...My boss was on his 2nd week gone. On one hand I did get more hours, but..I had to work more hours..LOL
2...I got to do Nana duties Monday and got my Grandson Gavin at 4 and kept him while his Mommy was at a Stampin Up Class til 8:30.
3...Tuesday I stayed to help at daycare for an hour until a substitute came in to take over. As I was walking to my car, the Daycare Director hollered to me they could use me on the payroll. If I could afford the cut in pay I would do it. I got a call at work that My Grandson was running a fever(102.4) at daycare and needed picked up. I am only 5 min away at work so off I went to get him. His Mommy works out of town and called for a Dr appt and we waited at my work for a bit then off to Dr he and I went. He has an inner ear infection on the right side.
4...I got to the pharmacy to get his prescription(took me 30 minutes to drive there) and the girls said the prescription was not there yet. The Dr faxed it while still in the room with us. So I got out of line and parked and called the ofc. It was closed already so I went through the answering service. She called the private # and had them re-fax it. 20 minutes later back through the line I go and she says it has still not come through. AGH!!! I have a sick baby in my car. So out of line I went again and back on the phone. This time the woman kept me on the phone while she faxed again and called the pharmacist. Whoah and behold there were 3 copies there now..The young girl that met me at the window the others times was no where to be seen for my final trip. Finally got him home and headed home at 6:15.
5...Wednesday I got a call again about Gavin’s fever at daycare. I went and got him and came back to work for 30 minutes waiting on someone to get here. I took him to his house and put him down for a nap. I had a killer headache and nausea going on so I laid down too. I left there about 6 to go home.
6...I had my hubby fix his own dinner and I made me toast and went to lie down. I was so miserable. After I ate I laid down with my glasses off and the TV on and listened to some ABC Soaps I dvr’d. Finally went to bed at 8:30.
7...Thursday I got to my daughter’s house to get Gavin for daycare and packed the things I needed for him to spend the night. His Mommy has an out of town meeting they have to leave at 6am for tomorrow so he will stay with me.
8...I had to run several errands before going home today. I had to go to James Avery to get my Daughter’s charm bracelet she had some engraving and charms added to. Then bank and store.
9...My daughter showed up with Gavin and dinner from Applebees. We ate and visited for an hour then off she went to get her stuff done and to bed early. I gave Gavin a bath and played and down he went at 7:15. He woke only briefly when an Ambulance went through the neighborhood.
10...I had to get Gavin ready for School pictures today. A lot of parents sent clothes for the pictures so they wouldn’t get yukky with breakfast and drool. I stayed to help with it for his class. Three of us dressed and undressed 9 one year olds for pictures.
11...I picked Gavin up about 1:45. I had already ran to let his dog out since my Daughter would be late tonight. We ran to the pharmacy for me, the bank, A Hole in the Wall gift shop for this awesome sheet metal Turkey for my front yard( at these two I let him walk on the sidewalk a bit and he loved it), The bakery for treats, the movie rental store, Papa Murphy’s Pizza and finally Braum’s Ice Cream. He did great zipping in and out. We got home and shared Cookie Dough Ice cream and then he napped.
12...My Daughter was sick feeling all day and had to stop to puke on her trip home. So Gavin spent the night again since he was coming in the morning anyway while she had a class from 10-11:30. He loved the pizza and he ate a ½ of a pound cake pumpkin we got at the bakery...
13...Saturday his my other Daughter Melissa, came to town and we met at my Mother’s with Gavin so she could see him. He played the piano and had fun. Then back home for a quick nap before my 2 girls and Gavin met their Dad(my ex) for lunch at Olive Garden. Melissa came back and hung out with me for a while and then we got KFC for dinner and off she went.

They have school pictures for one year olds? Really?
That was a busy week! SOunds like you all had some stomach bug going on. Glad you are all better.
